Play Well. Do Good. On the court.
This isn't our flagship event. It's smaller. More intimate. And honestly? That's exactly the point.
The Silicon Alley Tennis Invitational is one of our most beloved events precisely because it strips everything back to what matters — real tennis, real conversations, and real community. You'll get 3 to 3.5 hours of competitive doubles play, a light dinner, drinks, and one of the better views in the tristate area overlooking the Hudson River.
It's low key, it's familial, and if you're a tennis player — you're going to love it.
How It Works
We play doubles, rotating partners after every match. The top 4 players with the most games won advance to the championship round. Competitive enough to keep it interesting. Relaxed enough to actually enjoy it.
Minimum USTA Level: 3.5. Our average across the field historically lands around 4.0. The level matters — not because we're gatekeeping, but because keeping it competitive makes it fun for everyone on the court. No bagel sets. No awkward mismatches.
Not sure if your game is there? No stress — reach out to the SAS team and we'll help you figure it out together.
Who Shows Up
Founders. VCs. Tech executives. Marketers. The same Silicon Alley community you know — just in tennis whites instead of conference rooms. The tennis is serious; the vibe is anything but.

Who Attends
All skill levels welcome.
“For me, SAS events are all about the people. Darren does an incredible job of including talented and, most importantly, good people. Everyone I've met (literally everyone) has been positive, open and interesting. I have met many people who I now consider friends - and who are happy to jump in and help when I need advice, feedback or a connection.”
